A father’s love can inspire a child to soar to new heights. Y-FLY! is a multimedia production with Rap, and Hip Hop dancers, which inspires our children to climb to new levels of achievement. Staged at locations such as the breath-taking Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and the distinquished Bovard Auditorium at USC, this event brings together 500 fathers from Los Angeles and 2,400 children of this fatherless generation to challenge our youth to look past their own painful circumstances and embrace their future with the love and support of the fathers of our community. Our kids will learn that they have the support of the men in our community and that they can do the impossible if they believe!

Traveling in a time machine, our kids will fly back to the past, through the present and into the future. The message, Your fathers love you and believe in you so don’t hesitate to soar! Through time travel, they will experience the challenges faced by the human race in the past, including the need for technological advancement and social reform. They will soar into the present to experience the dreams that people began to have during the industrial revolution, and the obstacles and faith that inspired those who believed to persevere until they succeeded. Then children will launch into the future to witness two possible paths: a dark and hopeless future of wars, sickness, poverty, environmental pollution, and violence or, in the alternative, a bright and promising future of world peace, prosperity, health, and the explosion of the creative industry. Our children will learn that they are the decisions-makers with the power to determine the outcome of their future world.

With this message interspersed with rappers, hip hop dancers, special effects, and interviews with fathers who have overcome their own challenges, our youth will be inspired to face their future with faith in themselves, hope for their dreams, and the loving support of their community.
